"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Umm, there are a few ways to do that. You can add one yourself if you have an art program. Or if you would like you can use the one that comes with dA. If you would like to add your own, and you have something like photoshop I can link you to a tut of mine which is very easy to understand. Or if you would like to use the one that comes with dA I can explain how to add that. Which would you like?
